Modern Classic is a cool mix of old and new. Hand painted woodwork with inset cabinet doors, broad drawers and open ribbed shelves are some of the updated classic details that suit both old and new houses in rural style.

The base cabinets in the Vikby model are hand-painted in Rain, a muted blue-grey, and paired with wall cabinets in the Steneby model, hand-painted in Sand. Open storage with slatted shelves runs along the bottom of the base cabinets and gives the kitchen an airy, light feel. The Celeste natural stone worktop has lively veining in blue and warm tones. Bro handles with rattan add a soft detail, and a Kinnekulle limestone floor completes the look.

The range cooker from Italian maker ILVE has a deep grey-blue tone that matches the base cabinets. Above it sit a light Helios extractor hood and a utensil rail that is both practical and decorative.

The open wall shelves have Hällekis rails, which frame glassware and ceramics beautifully. The Celeste natural stone worktop, with its blue and warm-toned veining, continues into a stone-clad sink from Decosteel. The tap is by the Danish brand Vola.

The Bro handle has a rattan-wrapped grip and ends in brushed stainless steel.

A smooth, recessed door. The thickness is 22 mm and edges are made of 5 mm solid wood. The door is hand painted on ash veneer and you can have it with visible hinges or concealed soft-close hinges.
