Supplier Code of Conduct

Policy on Human Rights, Working Conditions, Environmental Responsibility and Business Ethics

Purpose and scope

This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum requirements applicable to all suppliers to Kvänum kök.

The requirements apply to: • All suppliers and business partners • The entire supply chain, including sub-suppliers

The supplier is responsible for ensuring that these requirements are also complied with by its sub-suppliers.

1. Laws and International Principles

The supplier shall comply with: • Applicable national legislation • The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights • The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the . Child (Article 32) • The ILO Core Conventions • The United Nations Convention Against Corruption

Where discrepancies exist, the higher standard shall apply.

2. Human Rights

The supplier shall: • Respect the equal dignity and rights of all people • Prevent discrimination, harassment and abusive treatment • Ensure that its operations do not contribute to violations of human rights

3. Child Labour

• Child labour is prohibited • The minimum working age shall comply with applicable laws and international standards • Young workers shall not perform hazardous work

4. Working Conditions

The supplier shall ensure: • Lawful employment and clear terms and conditions of employment • Wages in accordance with applicable laws and regulations (at least the statutory minimum wage) • Regulated working hours and adequate rest periods • A safe and healthy working environment

Particular attention shall be given to: • Machinery safety and ergonomics • Fire and electrical safety • Safe handling of chemicals

5. Forced Labour and Freedom of Association

• Forced labour is prohibited • All work shall be voluntary

Workers shall have the right to: • Form and join trade unions or other representative organizations • Bargain collectively • Raise concerns without fear of retaliation

6. Environmental Responsibility

The supplier shall: • Comply with environmental legislation • Minimize its environmental impact

This includes: • Improving resource efficiency • Reducing emissions and waste • Managing chemicals safely • Using responsibly sourced raw materials

7. Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption

The supplier shall conduct its business with a high standard of integrity and ethical conduct: • Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption • No improper payments, benefits or undue advantages • Business decisions shall be objective and impartial

Gifts and hospitality shall be: • Reasonable • Transparent • Business-related

8. Supply Chain Responsibility

The supplier shall: • Be able to demonstrate compliance • Cooperate with audits and assessments • Remedy deficiencies without undue delay

Serious or repeated breaches of this Supplier Code of Conduct may result in the termination of the business relationship.
