This year’s version of Modern Classic is a cool mix of old and new. Hand painted woodwork with inset cabinet doors, broad drawers and open ribbed shelves are some of the updated classic details that suit both old and new houses in rural style.
Cottage romance, boho chic or whatever – Steneby Mistral is a dreamy kitchen full of rustic charm and modern flair. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. The oven is from Italian Ilve in our own colour Salvia. New fan cover Helios is our own design, here in colour Humble Yellow.
Our new door Steneby has a neat and narrow frame. 2020 colours are Mylla, Mossa, Mistral, and Storm – earthbound and crisp like fresh air sweeping down from the north. Soft and relaxed with some more colours and somewhat freer forms, a kitchen that tolerates everyday life of rumpled towels and drooping tulips, a kitchen for living, says Per Fernholm, designer with Kvänum, about Steneby.
This is where Modern Classic Steneby takes us to town, and reaches its high end, or not necessarily that posh but nice enough. It is all very eloquent and elegant. If Mistral is rural chic, Mylla is urban ditto – perhaps more SoHo than boho, but no doubt laid back and inviting.
Steneby is a recessed frame door. The door with its neat frame has traditional qualities with a modern expression. The thickness is 22 mm and the edges are made of a thick veneer edge band. The door is hand painted on ash veneer and you can have it with visible hinges or concealed hinges with integrated damping.
