For the first time the design world will be given the opportunity to see Swedish Kvänum at the
world’s largest furniture and kitchen fair at the Salone del Mobile Eurocucina in Milan this April.
Kvänum is market leading in Scandinavia within exclusive, bespoke interiors for kitchens, dressing
rooms and bathrooms. The company has been awarded a number of honours and design awards,
the latest the Elle Decoration International Design Award.

Kvänum goes international
In 2010, Kvänum will be undertaking its most ambitious venture ever, establishing showrooms in Stockholm, St. Petersburg and Helsinki. For the first time ever, the wider European public will have the chance to view Kvänum’s exclusive kitchens at the Salone del Mobile Eurocucina – the largest furniture and kitchen trade fair in the world – in Milan in April.
Kvänum is the market leader in Scandinavia in the field of exclusive, customised interior design for kitchens, bathrooms and storage solutions. The company employs 130 people and has been operating since 1923, supplying genuine Swedish joinery to extremely style-conscious customers. All kitchens and storage solutions are manufactured by skilled craftsmen at the company’s joinery factory in Kvänum on the plains of West Götaland. Authentic craftsmanship of the very finest quality is the distinguishing feature of all products from Kvänum.

Kvänum opens new showroom in Stockholm
Style-conscious Stockholm residents and visitors to the city will now have the opportunity to view premium world-class kitchens at a high-profile address in central Stockholm, Sweden. On 26 February, the Swedish joinery company Kvänum will be opening a lifestyle-oriented showroom at Sibyllegatan 34, presenting kitchens, bathrooms and storage solutions.
For more than 80 years, the family-owned company Kvänum has been supplying personally designed furnishing solutions to extremely discerning and knowledgeable customers. The company stands for soul and craftsmanship, with design, functionality and quality down to the smallest detail. The manufacturing process is built on a philosophy of authenticity in everything the company does.
“Kvänum is currently undergoing a phase of rapid expansion,” explains Pierre Nyström, CEO. “This spring we will be opening new showrooms in Stockholm, St. Petersburg and Helsinki. And in April, the European public will have the chance to view Kvänum’s exclusive furnishing solutions at the Eurocucina trade fair in Milan.
